My granddaughters Ford Focus needs a part, a Remote Function Actuator Module. Part number is F1FZ19G481J. However, Ford no longer makes this part. We have tried junk yards in the area and no one has this part. She is without her car until we can get this part. Any ideas? TIA

Isn't there a law that manufacturers have to produce parts for models for 10 years or so?

Generally speaking: How old is your battery? Are your battery connections clean? There are important ground points that should be clean too. If your battery is over 3 years old, it could still be part of the issue. The electronics and software are more finicky in new cars.

Found it! Called Brandywine Auto Parts and it should be here in 3 to 5 days. She has to take it to the dealership so they can program it to her car. I miss the days when I could my father or grandfather and they'd be able to fix just about anything on my car. Now you need a damn computer programmer.
